Criminal investigation launched into possible hunting accident

On Saturday a woman was on a terrace in Fentange when she was shot in the head. She was seriously injured, and now some wild boar hunters are under investigation.

(str/NG) A ring of apartment buildings lines the "op der Sterz" on the outskirts of Fentange, each one with a terrace or balcony. On the ground floor of one of these apartments, several people were enjoying the late summer temperatures last Saturday.

It was around 5:30pm when the incident happened. In all likelihood, the din of the Alzingen Oktoberfest could be heard from afar.
