The unmistakable dreamscape pop sounds
of Luxembourg's “artistic project”, as they prefer to be called
rather than a band, are what make When 'Airy Met Fairy quite
unique. Now they've just released a striking new single with a video
shot in Iceland.
WAMF, as the group is known for short,
with well-known singer Thorunn Egilsdottir fronting the trio, has
only been around a few years but in that time managed to achieve a lot, including a tour in Japan and slots at top European music
festivals like Reeperbahn in Hamburg, Eurosonic in the Netherlands
and Iceland Airwaves, to name but a few.
