The summer holidays were over for more than 48,000 young people in Luxembourg as they started at primary school on Thursday.

The “Rentrée Scolaire” as the return to school is referred to in Luxembourg, brought smiles and tears for the thousands of youngsters, some of which attended school for the first time.
