A would-be burglar had no chance of escaping a crime scene in Strassen in the early hours of Wednesday morning, after a quick-thinking witness called the police who arrived just in time to catch him.

A would-be burglar had no chance of escaping a crime scene in Strassen in the early hours of Wednesday morning, after a quick-thinking witness called the police who arrived just in time to catch him.

The incident occurred at about 1:20am on Rue Fleming, when a local resident witnessed a person stealing a garage door remote control from a parked car, before entering a house nearby via the garage, and called the police.
