Fatal collision causes lorry to catch fire
Shortly before 4pm on Thursday, a deadly accident occurred when a motorist from Cologne tried to overtake a Luxembourg-registered lorry on the B51 (Bitburg-Trier).
(TJ/NG) Shortly before 4pm on Thursday, a deadly accident occurred when a motorist from Cologne tried to overtake a Luxembourg-registered lorry on the B51 (Bitburg-Trier).
As the car was overtaking, it was pushed into the opposite lane and collided with a lorry. In the collision, the lorry's tank burst open, causing an explosion.
