Basement fire in Bettembourg

A fire in an apartment building in Bettembourg broke out on Wednesday night. Firefighters required around four hours to bring everything under control.

(TJ/NG) On Wednesday night a fire broke out in an apartment building in Bettembourg.

The incident occurred around 10pm on the Rue du Coin. A team of rescuers was on the scene to help accompany residents and pets to safety, while another team entered the basement to try and determine the cause of the fire.
