A resident in Gilsdorf, near Diekirch, was shocked to find that their home had been broken into and a car stolen right from inside the building’s garage.

The incident is thought to have occurred sometime between 1am and 1:30am on Tuesday when burglars gained access to the interior of the house located on the road "Am Grond" via a tilted basement window which they broke to pass through.
