New "Grand Est" logo for French region or a supermarket?

The new “Grand-Est” merged French region, just over the Luxembourg border, encompassing Lorraine, Champagne-Ardennes and Alsace has a new logo, presented at the weekend, but it is already being mocked.

(ADW) The new “Grand-Est” merged French region, just over the Luxembourg border, encompassing Lorraine, Champagne-Ardennes and Alsace has a new logo, presented at the weekend, but it is already being mocked.

The logo was revealed at the Châlons Fair in Chalons-en-Champagne, and was designed by regional municipal services, explains its president Philippe Richert.
