The L-shaped building covers a surface area of around 7,800 square metres.
A new primary school in the Rives de Clausen opened this school year.
Set in a nine metre drop in the rock near the Alzette river off Montée de Clausen, the school covers a surface area of around 7,800 square metres.
The L-shaped building has two main sections -- one for primary school age children and the other for précoce (three-year-olds).
The primary school building consists of 16 rooms, including a library and alternative teaching rooms.
The précoce section has five classrooms and the entrance is monitored by CCTV.
There is an underground sports hall and the early-years playground is situated on the sports hall's roof.
