Abe calls snap election in Japan, readies €15 billion package

(Bloomberg) Japan’s Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said he'll dissolve the lower house of parliament on September 28 for a general election as he announced an $18 billion (€15 billion) economic package.
Abe unveiled a slew of measures aimed at working families, including more education spending, in speaking to reporters in Tokyo on Monday night. He also spoke about the need to keep up pressure on North Korea after Kim Jong Un’s regime fired two missiles over Japan in recent weeks.
