A total of 57,800 cubed metres of concrete and 3,810 tonnes of steel have been used to build the
first section of Luxembourg's tramline, stretching from Kirchberg to
Place de l'Etoile.
François Bausch, Minister of
Sustainable Development and Infrastructure, confirmed the figures
when responding to a parliamentary question from the Alternative Democratic Reform Party (ADR) minister, Gast Gibéryen, about the amount of
carbon emissions generated by the project.
