Coping with worries of starting new school year

It can take several weeks to settle in to a new year and children and teenagers may feel anxious and worried about being bullied, not fitting in and not being clever enough.

Now that pupils have returned to school, Kanner-Jugendtelefon -- an anonymous helpline for children and teenagers -- is publishing a new set of monthly comic strips to appear in the English Wort.

The first in the new series looks at the challenges pupils face as they settle into a new school or class, such as struggling to fit in and the fear of being bullied.
