American universities coming to Luxembourg to recruit 'talented' students
The American-style recruitment fair will be the first ever to be organised in Luxembourg.
20.09.2017
More than 20 American universities are
set to visit Luxembourg to recruit "talented and diverse" high school
pupils and university students.
The American-style recruitment fair
will be the first ever to be organised in Luxembourg.
Visitors include Stanford University,
which ranked third in the latest Times Higher Education (THE) World
University Rankings, Berklee College of Music, one of America's most
highly regarded music conservatories, as well as major research
institutions and small liberal arts colleges.
The event, dubbed the Luxembourg
College Night, offers attendees the chance to explore university
programmes which could best fit their academic needs.
The aim of the
trip for the universities is to connect with a
"multilingual, internationally
oriented and diverse set of students"
who could be interested in the opportunities
provided by American establishments, according to a statement by the US Embassy in Luxembourg.
