(JB) Police are investigating two reports that a suspicious motorist encouraged students from the International School of Luxembourg, located in Luxembourg City, to get into a car.
According to an internal memo from ISL director Nicki Crush, the two incidents occurred close to the Conservatoire, in rue Charles Martel at 2.30pm on October 14 and 3.30pm on October 15.
Neither of the students complied. In the memo, the director urged parents to speak to their children and discuss what they should do if approached by a stranger.
The school has reported the incidents to Luxembourg Police, who have opened an investigation.
Security guards patrolling the area have been asked to be particularly vigilant in the area around the Conservatoire. Meanwhile, the Conservatoire, which has received several letters from concerned ISL parents, confirmed that security has been strengthened in the area.
