Warning of A7 section closure at weekend

It may have only recently opened completely, but Luxembourg highway maintenance is warning that a section of the A7 motorway this weekend will be completely closed with a diversion in place.

The work, which was forewarned and planned some time ago before the grand A7 opening, takes place between the Waldhof and Lorentzweiler junctions from Friday October 16 at 8pm, until Monday October 19 at 6am.

Traffic will be diverted from the Waldhof junction on the N11 road to Echternach, and then the N7 to Lorentzweiler where traffic will rejoin the A7 motorway.

Traffic travelling in the opposite direction will take the same route.
