Housing market stabilises after VAT hike
The purchase price of a new-build property rose 8.2 percent in the second quarter of 2015 compared with the same period in 2014.

The rise, which was not as pronounced as that recorded in the first quarter (up 12.8 percent), came largely as a result of the VAT increase on construction.
