A police roadside alcohol check found nearly 4 percent of passing motorists were over the legal alcohol limit for driving.
The controls were carried out in three locations: the N17 in Tandel, the N10 in Vianden and the CR322 in Groesteen from 8pm on Sunday to 00.30 on Monday.
According to police, of the 252 motorists who underwent a breathalyser test, 10 came back positive. Police issued 10 verbal warnings and in two cases the driver's licence was confiscated.
