Luxembourg's first creative hub, 1535° in Differdange, was officially inaugurated on Friday in the presence of its 200 workers and Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume.
The inauguration of building A enabled Prince Guilluame and Princess Stéphanie to visit the vast 16,000m sq site which hosts hundreds of start-ups and creative businesses.
Among the people working there are graphic designers, architects, stylists and photographers, and according to Differdange mayor Roberto Traversini, more requests have been submitted by interested parties.
The building's name is a nod to its industrial heritage. A former steel mill, the site has been renovated as part of the town's new urban plan and provides open plan work spaces for people in the creative industries.
Members of the public may visit 1535° this weekend when the doors will be open from 11am to 7pm.
