A 15-year-old drunk driver from Hesperange was involved in a crash in France on Sunday night.
According to the Républicain Lorrain, the teenager was reportedly driving a 4x4 on the A31 motorway between Thionville and Metz in France when he veered off the road on a bend and rolled the car.
Around 15 firefighters were at the scene to release the trapped driver, who was transported to Bel-Air hospital in Thionville.
It emerged the young driver had waited for his parents to go to bed before borrowing the family car and taking a drive.
Before leaving, he consumed two glasses of vodka.
