Breaking the speed limit by a few kilometres per hour is one thing, but when it is no less that 137 km per hour over, it becomes a far more dangerous matter. A biker was recorded doing just that near Larochette on Friday.
The incident occurred on route Angelsberg, Friday afternoon when the biker raced by police at 227km an hour in a 90km zone.
Despite the rider's speed, police were able to stop the offender and immediately revoke his licence.
As well as losing his licence the man is likely to be severely fined and brought before the prosecutor.
