Police carried out a drug detection operation at Luxembourg City's central station on Wednesday yielding 'good' results and one person being apprehended.
It was between 11.50am and 6.45pm police patrolled the station with sniffer dogs in a passive drugs detection operation in which eight international trains passed through the station and more than 100 travellers were checked.
In total 14 grams of hashish and 18 grams of marijuana were confiscated as well as prohibited weapons and drug-related paraphernalia.
One person was detained and taken to the police station, although what for exactly is not clear. Police reports simply state the offender had “violated judicial obligations”.
In total 18 offences were recorded during the operation.
