The giant “blood moon” and total lunar eclipse could be clearly observed over Luxembourg and in many other countries, in the early hours of Monday morning.
The phenomenon occurred between 4am and 5.30am as the blood moon, glowing red due to the long-wavelength light scattered by the earth’s atmosphere, crossed Luxembourg skies.
