(JB) A man was attacked an injured with a machete during a violent incident in Schifflange on Thursday evening.
According to police, an argument between two men in a bar got out of hand when, at around 8pm, one of them pulled out a machete and struck the other.
The injured man fled outside and was chased by the machete-wielding man down Avenue de la Liberation and rue du Parc.
The victim was later found by police in rue Belair, suffering injuries to both arms. His injuries are not said to be life-threatening.
The weapon was found nearby and seized. Police were unable to find the attacker.
