Luxembourg is getting closer to achieving a better gender balance in politics after the Government approved a draft law on gender quotas on candidate lists.
(JB) Luxembourg is getting closer to achieving a better gender balance in politics after the Government approved a draft law on gender quotas on candidate lists.
The draft, which was approved on September 23, 2015, provides for the introduction of a 40 percent quota of each gender on the lists of candidates presented by political parties for the next European elections.
