Over the summer, the university's administrative services also made the move for the new academic year, with most going back to work a week before the students along with the professors.

Another move is planned for September 2016, in which 1,500 further students will move to Belval.
Law, economics and fianance up to level bac + 3 will also be transferred to Belval.
The Belval campus was constructed on a former ArcelorMittal steel mill, which closed at the end of the 1990s.
A project to convert it into an urban community began in 2000 and the first buildings opened in 2006.
The first university faculties to be transferred to Belval were bio-medicine researchers who made the move in 2007.
