Grevenmacher crowns new wine queen

The wine producing town of Grevenmacher crowned its latest wine queen at a special ceremony over the weekend. 18-year-old Roxann Hoffmann received the coveted title at the 66th edition of the festival in the east of Luxembourg.

(JB) The wine producing town of Grevenmacher crowned its latest wine queen at a special ceremony over the weekend. 18-year-old Roxann Hoffmann received the coveted title at the 66th edition of the festival in the east of Luxembourg.

The teenager was crowned in an official ceremony on Friday evening that was made all the more special for the fact that her jeweller father had made the crown specially. The new ambassador for the town's wine community was supported by princesses Aline, Jana, Sophie and Jessica.
