(JB) Scores of people of all ages and fitness levels turned out for Luxembourg's inaugural Salon Top Sport, a day showcasing the country's diverse sports terrain.
The event, hosted at de Coque sports centre, welcomed representatives of more than 30 different sporting disciplines to provide information, host workshops and recruit new players or practitioners.
It was opened by Luxembourg Sports Minister Romain Schneider, who could not resist joining in with the fun Zumba dance-fitness workshop.
Other sports featured include table tennis, fencing, volleyball, archery and taekwondo.
A number of Luxembourg sports stars are expected to attend, among them Karate champion Jenny Warling, Bob Bertemes(skittles), Marie Muller (judo), Ben Gastauer (cycling), Luciano Fratini (Paralympics) and Sylvia Splicks (Special Olympics).
