Three people were reported injured, one of them seriously in two separate traffic accidents on Thursday evening in the Grand Duchy.
The first involved cyclist who suffered serious injuries after being hit by a car in Hersberg, east Luxembourg at about 6.15pm.
The man was knocked to the ground and emergencies services from Junglinster rushed to the scene providing medical attention on the spot before rushing the victim to hospital.
It was at about 8pm when a crash between two vehicles occurred on Route de Longwy in Rodange in the west of the country.
Emergency services arrived at the scene and transported them to a local medical centre in Pétange.
Meanwhile firefighters removed the vehicles and cleared the accident site of debris. Details of how the accident occurred are not known at this stage.
