Christmas trees will be collected from the side of the road in a similar way to usual household waste in January.
In Luxembourg City, trees which have been spray-dyed or have any other type of decoration will be collected during normal waste collection and untouched trees will be collected separately but on the same day or the day after garbage collection.
The trees must be placed on the pavement before 6am on collection day and trees measuring more than 2m must be cut in half.
It is also possible to take Christmas trees to the recycling centre on route d'Arlon between 7am and 7.30pm weekdays or between 8.30am and 6pm on Saturdays.
