On Friday, the Luxembourg City cinema opens again following bedbug infestation
One of Luxembourg City's oldest cinemas, the Cinémathèque, is to reopen at the end of this week following a major bedbug infestation.
The cinema was closed at the end of March after bedbugs were discovered in the seats of the theatre.
All screenings were cancelled due major sanitation work throughout the entire complex.
In a statement on Monday, the cinema announced that a sniffer dog "specialised in the detection of bed bugs" confirmed the success of the sanitation.
The Cinémathèque will open again at 6pm on Friday, 20 April, with the first screening since the closure scheduled for 6:30pm.
The first film to be screened for the reopening will be the 1961 film 'One, Two, Three' by Billy Wilder.
At 8:30pm, Ernst Lubitsch's 1942 classic 'To Be or Not To Be' will be on the programme.
