Luxembourg's art house cinema, the Cinémathèque, will reopen next week after an infestation of bedbugs forced it to close down three months ago.
A specialist company from Switzerland was called to disinfect the building and sniffer dogs were sent to check if the place was clear of the bugs.
Bedbugs are small, flat, brown insects which move quickly and live off human and animal blood.
Cinémathèque first closed its doors in March last year after bedbugs were discovered in the cinema seats but it reopened a month later after the building was disinfected.
In November the cinema announced another bout of the bugs and the building has remained closed since.
The entire building, including the entrance, has now been sanitised.
Sniffer dogs will be sent to check the building on a monthly basis, the cinema confirmed.
Cinémathèque will reopen on Monday and continue with its February schedule.
