Record attendance at the Night of the Museums 2017
A record number of people attended the Night of the Museums, with more than 20,000 people flooding through doors of late-night event.
This year's theme was "Museums connect". The idea was to foster interactivity from one museum to another via Facebook live and other means of streaming services.
The annual event has been organised since 2001. The seven museums of the city of Luxembourg offered a night opening until 1 am, while doors were open until 3am at Casino, the contemporary art forum.
