Luxembourg's Finance Ministry is considering drafting a law to remove sanction powers from the country's financial watchdog.
Claude Marx, director general of the Commission de Surveillance du Sector Financier (CSSF), told a conference on Tuesday that the regulator wants its powers to sanction or fine financial firms to be passed to an independent body.
