Hiscox to move cross-border contracts to Luxembourg
British specialist insurer informs clients exposed to European market of business shift
British specialist insurer Hiscox has announced plans to transfer all its cross-border contracts to Luxembourg by January 2019.
The move, presented to customers in an advisory note, is part of the insurer's Brexit contingency plan and comes more than a year after the company announced plans to open a European subsidiary in the Grand Duchy.
