AIG appoints CEO for new Luxembourg company
US insurer announces Thomas Lillelund will join local entity to head group's EU business post-Brexit
American International Group (AIG) has announced the appointment of Thomas Lillelund as chief executive officer of the newly-founded Luxembourg-based AIG Europe entity.
The global insurer announced last April it had received authorisation for new insurance companies in the UK and Luxembourg in preparation for Britain's departure from the European Union (EU).
