Brussels to ease regulatory burden for cross-border funds in Europe
March initiative aims to make regulatory system for fund managers 'easier to manoeuvre'
The European Commission intends to make it easier for fund managers to sell their services across Europe.
Sven Gentner, head of the unit for asset management at the Commission, told a conference in Luxembourg on Tuesday that a proposal would come forward in March to lower regulatory barriers to cross-border distribution.
