France top wine exporter, UK top importer
Luxembourg exported 36.700 hectolitres of wine and wine products in 2017
The EU sold 14.6 billion litres of wine (including sparkling wine, port and grape must) in 2017, according to a statistic by Eurostat.
The largest wine producers were Spain, Italy and France, followed by Portugal, Germany and Hungary.
