EU adopts 2018 budget with €15.4 billion deficit
Budget negotiator cites twin priorities of tackling migration and security, and boosting innovation, growth and employment.
The European Union's (EU) 2018 budget was approved by its council and parliament on Thursday with a €15.4 billion deficit.
The EU has estimated spending of €160.1 billion against revenues of €144.7 billion, the European Council said in a statement.
