Foreigners' children underperform in Luxembourg's schools
Growing calls for reform of language system to allow parents to choose single language path for children
In Luxembourg's school system, the children of foreigners are largely underperforming their native peers.
According to the latest OECD report for Luxembourg, socio-economic family situations, the lack of Luxembourgish spoken in the home and low equity in the education system are the main factors behind the underperformance.
