Government issues guidelines on how new law, passed on 1 January, will work in practice
Fathers in Luxembourg who fall ill during their 10-day paternity leave will be unable to reclaim the days off, while the same number of days are to be granted for single or multiple births, according to new guidelines.
On Monday, Luxembourg's government – after introducing a law on 1 January extending paternity leave from two days to 10 – issued the documentation on how the legislation would work in practice.
