Luxinnovation – Sasha Baillie, a consultant to Luxembourg deputy prime minister Etienne Schneider, chair of the Nation Branding Committee and head of the LuxGovSat board, is reportedly in line to succeed Jean-Paul Schuler as director at Luxinnovation, which seeks to attract foreign direct investment into the Grand Duchy and serve as a "key partner for companies looking to engage in innovative activities". According to the Lëtzebuerger Journal, Baillie is to oversee a shakeup at the organisation that would change its strategy and modus operandi. Baillie has told the Luxembourg Times that the government was looking to refashion Luxinnovation more along the lines of Luxembourg For Finance. A formal decision on the appointment is expected within a week.
