The University of Luxembourg is developing its studies in the field of medicine after the state pledged to inject an additional €26.4 million over a four-year period.
This means up to 25 students from Luxembourg will be able to continue a master's programme in medicine at one of the four participating French universities – Lorraine, Strasbourg, Paris V or Paris VI.
The University of Luxembourg will also consider adding master's degrees in medicine to its list of programmes in future.
Bachelor's degrees in medicine were introduced at the Grand Duchy's Belval campus in 2005.
The university will also further develop its specialised training in oncology and neurology, starting in September 2019.
