Controversial Bascharage bypass approved by MPs
Plans for €139 million bypass in south of country approved in parliament
The construction of the controversial Bascharage bypass was approved in parliament on Wednesday, dashing any hopes for the neighbouring commune of Sanem that the plan could still be stopped.
The bypass will cost an estimated €139 million and aims to address the traffic issue in the south of the country.
