An additional 221 staff have been appointed to work with children with special needs across schools in Luxembourg.
The new roles include classroom support staff who help pupils in their daily lessons and follow up on students' progress, as well as positions within the country's nine specialist centres for children with special needs.
Figures show that an extra 219 pupils will receive support compared with the start of the last school year.
Of the 759 pupils across the national system who receive additional support, 249 will have further support in comparison with the 2017-18 academic year, and 266 will continue with a similar programme.

After a law was passed earlier this year to expand on the country's special-education needs centres, a recruitment plan has now been approved.
Luxembourg has nine specialist centres, and 127 jobs were created for the start of this school year.
