Petition calls for later school starts to ease Luxembourg traffic
Paper argues starting school hour later would ease rush-hour morning traffic, help children be more productive at school.
Luxembourg's Chamber of Deputies has given the go-ahead for the opening of a petition to push the start of the school day forward an hour in a bid to reduce morning rush-hour traffic.
The petition, launched by Claude Feltgen, states that "one of the biggest problems in transport in Luxembourg" is the congestion at around 8am.
